The Space Station Console allows you to adjust the gravity level inside the space station. The Space Station Console is where you can have some fun. Teleporters are already common in ships when teleporting from planet to spaceship, and the Industrial Storage Locker is just another storage object. It'll then start you off with a Teleporter, a Space Station Console, and an Industrial Storage Locker. To start, deploy a probe into orbit in a system. Now that you have the Station Transponder, you can start building your own space station. How to Build Your Starbound Space Station It's hard to imagine that something so small creates such large space stations. Upon completion, you'll be able to place a space station in orbit in the current system when you are rewarded your very own Station Transponder. The quest is given by human NPCs on space stations, and in order to complete this quest, you'll need: The quest is called "Your Very Own Space Station." And your reward is obviously right in the title.

A Mandatory Quest to Get Started This will bring up an interface, where you can place your fuel sources then click Fuel to convert them into usable, ship-moving energy. To put fuel into your ship, stand behind the cockpit at the console, and hit E. Liquid Echirus, meanwhile, can be bought at the outpose or found under the surface of a moon. Uranium is often on radioactive planets, Plutonium can be found deep beneath the surface of moons, and planets near a hot star are most likely to house Solarium. Each of these sources can be mined on planets and moons. There are four sources of fuel within Starbound: Uranium, Solarium, Plutonium, and Liquid Echirus, which replaced Coal as a fuel source a while back. Travelling within a star system is free, but travelling between these systems will cost fuel proportional to the distance traveled, with a 500 max cost. Starbound is all about surviving as you travel across the galaxy, and to do that, you’re going to need plenty of fuel for your ship.
